1. Narrawallee Beach & Inlet

Right on your doorstep at Surfers Rest is the stunning Narrawallee Beach. This pristine, golden stretch of coastline is a favourite among locals for its tranquil ambiance and excellent surf conditions. The southern end offers gentle waves perfect for a morning dip, while the northern end connects to the Narrawallee Inlet. The inlet is an absolute must-visit for families; its calm, shallow waters are ideal for children, snorkeling, kayaking, or hiring a stand-up paddleboard.
2. Mollymook Beach & The Bogey Hole
Best for: Consistent surf and unique rock pools.
Just a stone’s throw away is Mollymook Beach, a sweeping crescent of sand famous for its lively atmosphere and excellent surf breaks. The patrolled northern end is ideal for catching waves, while the southern end is slightly more sheltered.
